ASUS MB169B+ connected to a Thinkpad 70 running Fedora 23.

This mini tutorial covers how to setup an ASUS MB169B+ on Fedora 23.

Overview

The ASUS MB169B+ uses a Displaylink chip.

Download the "Ubuntu" driver (don't worry about the name), which is a .zip file.

Extract, make executable and run the file:

unzip DisplayLink\ USB\ Graphics\ Software\ for\ Ubuntu\ 1.1.68.zip
chmod 755 displaylink-driver-1.1.62.run
sudo ./displaylink-driver-1.1.62.run
Verifying archive integrity... All good.

Note: This is not done, and is just my own notes to use while sorting this out.
