T400s

Hi Lenovo Depot folks,

Here are pics of the problems. Please see the image comments. So far, I've not had much luck with this unit. =/

The palm-rest crack... the palm of my hand sits right above there, so I wonder if the weight of my hand cracked it? It shouldn't, but maybe it was a material defect?

I thought this was dust or dirt, but I tried cleaning it with a lint-free cloth for glasses and it didn't help. It's an odd pattern for dark pixels, but I can't see anything on the surface so I guess it's the pixels?
